MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) -- A Maine man is behind bars after leading New Hampshire Police on a high speed chase.
Just before 6 p.m. Saturday night, police responded to calls of a pickup truck speeding on I-95 in Portsmouth and swerving between lanes. At one point hitting a guardrail.
The driver, Brian Harrington, 35, of Limington ME, kept driving even after a state trooper tried to pull him over. Police in Raymond put out stop sticks on Route 101, and were able to deflate the front and back tires on the driver's side. Harrington kept going on the Interstate with the flat tires before getting off in Manchester. At that point, police say he ditched the truck and ran off into the woods. Police were able to track him down quickly and arrest him.
He is being charged with Aggravated DWI, Disobeying a police officer, Reckless conduct, Transporting drugs and Resisting arrest.
