WINDHAM, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police released new details on a deadly crash in Windham that left one high school student dead, and four others injured
Windham Police said 15-year-old Tyonna Adams, a sophomore at Westbrook High School, was a rear-passenger in the vehicle before it crossed the centerline, rolled-over and slammed into a tree off of River Road Tuesday night.
Students came together at the scene of the crash Wednesday afternoon to mourn the loss of Adams. The superintendent at Westbrook School Department says a crisis team was on-hand to help grieving students.
Maine Medical Center is not releasing the condition of the 18-year-old driver Melinda Easter of Raymond. However, 18-year-old Kerrianna Girardin of Windham is listed in fair condition. Twenty-year-old Brittany Freeman and 22-year-old Sasha Williams, both of Westbrook, are in satisfactory condition.
