Fetch ME a Home: Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, March 17, 2018

This week's adorable Fetch ME a Home featured pet lacks one leg, but makes up for it with a larger than life heart of gold- meet Meadow!

PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER Maine)-- This week's adorable Fetch ME a Home featured pet lacks one leg, but makes up for it with a larger than life heart of gold- meet Meadow!

Meadow is a mixed breed female of an estimated two-years-old. She came from Puerto Rico where she delivered a liter of puppies, and around the same time she was hit by a car and her right from leg had to be amputated. However, being one leg short does not slow her down at all! Meadow loves to play and explore and once she's done doing that, all she wants to to cuddle up with her human and get lots of attention.

If you're interested in adopting Meadow, make sure you are part of an active household that will maintain meadow's healthy weight, which is important for dogs with missing limbs. Meadow (and her pups!) can be adopted from Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland today!

Fetch ME a Home airs every Saturday on the Weekend Morning Report. If you're interest in adopting other pets, you can do so at any of these other animal shelters near you: The Ark, New Hampshire SPCA, Kennebec Humane Society, Coastal Aroostook Humane Society, PAWS, SPCA of Hancock County, Cocheco Valley Humane Society, Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, Lucky Pup Rescue, Coastal Humane Society, Maine Chinchilla Shelter, and Animal Welfare Society.
