Arrest follows months after death in fight

A grand jury indicted Jonathan Limary on charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault
Police arrested Jonathan Limary months after they said he was involved in a fight in Caribou that led to a man's death

PRESQUE ISLE (NEWS CENTER Maine) -- A man accused of engaging in a fight that led to a death weeks later is now facing a manslaughter charge.

The fight on Oct. 30, 2017 in Caribou left 44-year-old Jean Bragdon with serious injuries requiring surgery. He left the hospital but died of complications from the procedure on November 17.

Using information about the fight gathered by police, the Maine Attorney General's Office brought a case against 22-year-old Jonathan Limary of Presque Isle before the Aroostook County Grand Jury last week. The grand jury then indicted Limary on charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault.

Police arrested Limary last weekend. After making his first court appearance on Monday, Limary returned to his confinement at Aroostook County Jail.
