GRAY, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Timber Ridge Farm says they raised $7,000 for information that leads to the conviction of the person who stole and abandoned their German Shepard in Gray.

The Buxton Police Department and Saco PD posted on their Facebook pages that they continue to jointly investigate the theft of Uhdelle, a five-year-old female German Shepherd owned by Timber Ridge Farm on the Simpson Road in Saco.

Police say Uhdelle went missing on Monday, November 14th, 2016, in the morning while out for a walk with Timber Farm’s owner, Doreen Metcalf.

"Evidence from the tracking collar attached to Uhdelle indicates that she was taken from the area in a motor vehicle," police said. Uhdelle was struck and killed Monday evening in Gray, approximately 30 miles away from her home.

Saco Chief Brad Paul and Buxton Chief Troy Cline are asking that anyone who may have information about this case to contact either agency.
