Jeffery Becton

once taught at Yale, but he moved to Deer Isle to get away from it all and enjoy his passion of digital photography.

He layers images on top of each other to create abstract works that at first glance look real. Until now, he's preferred to show them off as smaller prints. But now he's blown them up for a show at the Bates Museum of Art.

The exhibit is open Monday - Saturday and is free.
