INDIANAPOLIS — McDonald's is putting the McRib sandwich back on its menu, and starting today, they will give a free McRib to the first 10,000 entries who show the burger chain their clean-shaven face.

Beard or no beard, anyone can participate by posting a picture of a cleanly-shaven or baby-smooth face on their public Twitter or public Instagram profile using #Shave4McRibSweepstakes and tag @mcdonalds.

Actually, any face, male or female, including those in a mask, are eligible. The first 10,000 entries will get a code that can be redeemed for their free McRib sandwich through McDelivery with Uber Eats.

"Facial hair and the McRib just don’t mix—believe me, I’ve tried,” said McDonald's spokesman David Tovar. “And we’re excited this year to partner with No-Shave November, a charity that knows a thing or two about facial hair.”

In recognition of those who’ve grown a little scruff for a cause this month, McDonald's is donating part of every McRib purchase on Dec. 2 to the non-profit organization that raises funds for cancer research, prevention, and education.

No-Shave November's Senior Executive Director Monica Hill said, “We’re thrilled McDonald’s is supporting this important cause, getting both the bearded and the non-bearded involved beyond November simply by purchasing a McRib.”
