PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Comic lovers dressed in their finest Sunday for the Comic Expo in Portland. The event was hosted by Casablanca Comics.

This year, the crowd got to experience a special show with Iron Comic.

Three artists drew as fast as possible as the audience yelled out suggestions, and then were judged on their work.

It was a fun and interactive day for everyone involved. Some people even created their own characters to show their love for the comic world.

“It's really about making other people happy, which makes us happy,” said a big furry character named Night Spirit Wings. “And it's just about being this big, dopey dog or dragon or whatever.”
